Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak and Chief Operating Officer of Bring Kids Back UA

In June 2019, Zarivna became an advisor to the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, and in February 2020, she became an advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak. Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, she has participated in information digests, providing the latest updates on the war on behalf of the Office of the President of Ukraine. She is a member of the Working Group on Sanctions against Russia (Yermak-McFaul Sanctions Group), the Group on International Security Guarantees (Yermak-Rassmussen Group) transformed into the International Task Force on Security and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine (Ukraine-NATO Group), the Youth Affairs Council under the President of Ukraine, the Working Group on Preventing Hunger (Grain from Ukraine humanitarian food program), and the OECD Working Group on Bribery. Daria coordinates the International Working Group on Investigating Environmental Crimes Committed by Russia against Ukraine, as well as the Bring Kids Back UA Task Force aimed at protecting the rights of Ukrainian children deported by Russia.

Daria is responsible for handling the agenda on countering Russian propaganda and misinformation.

Before politics, Daria Zarivna had a successful media career being the founder of communication agency VectorPR and media outlet called Vector covering technology and business.

Daria graduated from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, passed Strategic Marketing Course at Stanford University and Values and Society course in Aspen Institute. She also passed the course “A Global System in Transition and Ukraine’s Reconstruction” in London School of Economics.
