Galyna is deeply involved in charity work. At the start of the war, she organized humanitarian hubs across various regions of Ukraine to provide aid and support displaced persons. She has also focused on supporting medical institutions, investing in repairs and equipment, including contributions to the Strazhesko Institute of Cardiology and the "Okhmatdyt" Children's Hospital.
Additionally, she launched a program to supply ambulances to military medics. Galyna and her husband are also strong advocates of Ukrainian sports. In recognition of her significant contributions to the country's development, Halyna Hereha has been honored with the Orders of Merit (1st, 2nd, and 3rd class) and the Order of Princess Olga. She also holds a PhD in Economics, with her dissertation focusing on "The Economic Efficiency of Shopping Complexes".
