Mr. Nakis is a Partner and President of Chicago Atlantic Trident, Chicago Atlantic’s impact investing strategy, where he oversees the strategic direction, operations, and growth of the strategy. With extensive experience in finance, real estate, and equity investing, he also serves as a member of the Investment Committee.
Previously, he was the CFO of Chicago Atlantic Trident, overseeing financial strategy, policies, operations, procedures, and fundraising activities. Before joining Chicago Atlantic, Mr. Nakis worked for nearly six years at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group.
He holds an MSc in Finance from the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE), an MSc in Applied Mathematics from George Washington University, and a BSc in Mathematics and Economics from George Washington University.
