Sonya Koshkina

Sonya Koshkina is co-founder and editor-in-chief of the online media Lb.ua. Launched in 2009, Lb.ua is today one of the country's leading online medias.

She has 26 years of experience in journalism overall. Her main professional areas are politics and religion. She is the author of an investigative book on the events of the Revolution of Dignity, "Maidan. The Untold Story".

She is currently working on a book about Ukraine's receipt of the Tomos of autocephaly in 2018.

In recent years, Lb.ua has been actively developing its discussion platforms — "Nova Kraina", LbTalks, and Club Lb — for discussing socially important topics both in a public format (with subsequent coverage on the Lb pages) and under Chatham House rules.

She has taught journalism at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv for 12 years and is a visiting professor at Charles University in Prague.
